He doesn’t have a lot of nicknames actually. Other than the
usual “sweety”, “dear”, “honey” etc, there are other nicknames that I gave
especially for him. And those nicknames are Mr. Kay and Mr. Troll.
The first nickname that I gave him was Mr. Kay. I know it
seems simple, and it is a simple nickname. It was a combination of ‘Mr.’ title
and his first name. The reason why I gave him the title was because I know he
wants to be a teacher. I gave the nickname before we were in relationship, so I
was expected him being annoyed with it. Infact, he didn’t feel annoyed with it,
but not saying he actually liked it either. At first, he didn’t really like how
I called him using ‘Mr.’ because he thinks it’s too formal. But I kept calling
him using that nickname, saying that it’s a special nickname that I gave for
him. In the end, he gave up and let me call him with that.
Then one day something surprising happened. While we were
chatting, suddenly he called my name using ‘Ms.’ in front. I was really
surprised when he did that to me. In some ways, the whole stuff felt like a
special scene in those dating simulation games. It’s the scene where the
guy/girl decided to call u differently, in a good way. Usually if this happens,
that means the guy/girl has a special feeling towards you…or at least he feels
closer to you.
But at first I didn’t believe that he feels closer to me, so
I thought maybe he actually wanted to get even. Since I call him using Mr, so
he would call me using Ms as well. But after thinking more about it, if that’s
the case…then the whole stuff would turn into flirting. And my thought was
correct. From there, without realising it, we started to flirt at each other.
Until now I still call him using Mr in front of his name.
Sometimes I call him ‘Mr. Troll’ as well, since people used to call him a
Troll. Funny thing is…even my family starts to call him using Mr. Maybe I should
ask them to stop it. Afterall it is my special nickname to him.
